On this week's Rowdy Alternative, Sam Burgh sits down with Garrett and Sarah of Cigarettes at Sunset to dive into the band’s origin story, their distinct sound (self-described as Appalachian Possum Rock), and their creative process. The conversation explores the highs and lows of navigating today’s music industry and social media as an independent band. They reflect on the power of live shows, lessons learned from veteran artists, and what fans can expect from their upcoming single “Pavement.” With a focus on authenticity and connection, this episode offers a real look into the journey of a band making waves on their own terms.
